    		 Mr Grier, Mr Grier! I'm excited you'll read my post. I have started brewing "David Alan Grier Beer", which is a Mocha Cherry Stout--sweet, chocolatey, smooth, crisp & sharp but not bitter. =)
    What d'you think? Geeky, sure, but I'm a huge fan of "Chocolate News", and I'm so disappointed Comedy Central didn't continue running your news show--more entertaining and even more informational than The Daily Show & Colbert Report. Although, Steven did have on Samuel L. Jackson, to his credit.

    		 Dude, dude...cuah, cuah...sorry had something in my throat. Heard you on Corrolla and you mentioned you had sleepy apnea. My dog gets jealous when I have my cpap mask on; what is the guard you mentioned you use when you sleep? (or whenever you use it; I can't imagine you use it when you are awake b/c you are always talking...wait can you talk with it in?)

    		 Dear David, My partner and I saw "Porgy and Bess" last night in Cambridge and were bowled over. What a beautiful, heart-breaking, nuanced re-imagination of that show! And having only seen you do comedy, I had no idea how well you dance, since, and act (nor than you have an MFA from Yale). Seeing your performance was a treat. Thank you so much for sharing that piece with the theater fans of Boston. And best of luck in New York.

    		 DAG.. I just finished Chocolate News ( audio Version) Had me cracking up laughing at the workplace. I love You, you have always been funny to me. All the way back to Blankman ("Do i have to paint a target on my ass") You know,I do a good Calhoun Tubbs impersonation, but truly, Ceephus & Resse didn't get the grammy they deserved. I am kinda proud & dissapointed that you went on Dancing with the Stars. I never had an interest in that , but "you tubed" the clips of your waltz & salsa (what was up with the crawlin' knee bit.. hell i needed a heating pad after watching that ) Keep your spirits up. I didn't see much of Chocolate news b/c i didn't have/don't have cable but again "you tubed" the poems prepared for the Inauguration, again... Pulitzer prize material. You know you have talent, and truly that needs no judges approval. I'll try to see you in San Jose, I know you gonna give me my $25 worth right...

    		 I recently read a joke of your where you said you stopped smoking reefer because you thought what if important people in history smoked and then they would have ed up. Well George Washington smoked and grew Marijuana along with hemp.... just saying.
    It was a funny thought if MLK had said that in his speech though

    		 Glad you got to Birmingham finally. The Friday show was a blast! Hope you got into town to see the City and connect with roots. BTW, also immensely enjoyed seeing you on the broadway stage in "Race". Great dramatic work by the whole cast!
