Hey! I am studying in South Africa for a semester, and my stepfather just called and told me about your show. So, I went online, and starting watching a few skits. OH MY GOD! This is just what I needed... something American and HILARIOUS! I grew up on "In Living Color." And everytime you made an appearence in a movie or something, I was always like "DDDAVVVIIIDDDD!!!" I'm glad you finally got your own show, and congratulations because it is HILARIOUS! Be sure to make sure White folks get their fair share of getting dogged out too so they won't be laughing at us but also with us (R.I.P. "Chappelle's Show"). Keep doing your thing, and thanks for making my stay here a little bit easier! -

Hey DAG, new show, huh? Dude, you have got to get over to EURWEb and see what people are saying about your new gig. Comments simply blew my mind. You can get there by going to EURWEB and on 10/31/08 check out the story titled "GRIER BEGS BLACKS NOT TO MESS THINGS UP FOR OBAMA", then at the bottom of the story, read all the comments. David,
My name is Tommy, I am in the Army stationed in Japan. Your ILC friend Tommy Davidson came here last month and when I talked to him and asked him about his website he told me he didnt have one. Before he performed here I was trying to read a little bit about what he had been up to, working on....ETC. Needless to say I couldnt find much. I thought to myself, without a webpage/blog how can you stay in the loop? Anyway I saw you on Tavis Smiley today (we get things late over here) and felt compelled to email you. If your new show does well in the states we will eventually get it over here on AFN (American Forces Network). I WOULD LIKE TO WRITE FOR YOUR SHOW!!! I'm sure you have heard this before but you were one of the funniest/witiest comics on that show and thats what I used tell everyone back then. I would say "yeah funny show, but don't sleep on DAG!!!" I would have to rewind VHS/DVD and point out WHY what you said or did was funny. I've been told I should be a comic but the whole "open mic night" thing is a little frightning to me. Just wanted you to know I've been a fan of yours for years and I'm very interested in contributing to your work in progress. Thanx for listening. Hit me back if you get a chance

YO DAG I just watched Chocolate News for the first time tonight. AMAZING stuff but I knew it from Adam Crackatolla
show and last summer I thought "Thank God You're Here" was good , too. Keep it up!

Got the link for your bio from Adam Carolla's website. I liked seeing you in In Living Color.. that was the best show on TV at the time. And I really liked when you came onto Adam Carolla's show. Just checked out Chocolate News on comedy central's website.. and the clips are really funny. The funniest thing I've heard in a long time, maybe ever? was when you said "that's like R Kelly using a toilet." THat was soooo funny! :-) Were you about to crack up after saying that?

What up DAG? Hey man, just wanted to say that I've been following you since ILC. Even back then I thought you were the funniest. Everytime one of the other cast members came out with a show or a movie I always hoped you were next. Finally they have given the star of the show then, the perfect show now. I can't wait to see what's in store. Go ahead and make history!

I finally got to watch Chocolate News yesterday! Great and hilarious stuff!!
I've always regarded you as one of my favorite members of ILC, and since then, I hoped that you could strike out on your own and make a name for yourself. I read your thoughts on Chocolate News, and I agree with you. I observed that you weren't being given a chance to really shine and be yourself. But now, with Chocolate News, you have free reign over the show's content! Score!!!
Dude, I hope you have great success with this show!! It's time to show the world pure, unadolterated DAG! Showtime, baby!
